
Dr. Mitchell Bard
Mitchell Bard is the Executive Director of the nonprofit American‑Israeli Cooperative Enterprise (AICE) and an authority on U.S.‑Middle East policy. Dr. Bard is also the director of the Jewish Virtual Library. Dr. Bard co-chairs the task force on BDS & Delegitimization for the Global Forum on Combating Anti-Semitism and was named one of the “top 100 people positively influencing Jewish life” by the Algemeiner newspaper.
He has appeared on local, national, and international media outlets and his work has been published in academic journals, magazines and major newspapers. He has written and edited 24 books, including Death to the Infidels, The Arab Lobby and the first Israel Studies textbook for high school students, Israel Matters: Understand the Past – Look to the Future. Bard holds a Ph.D. in political science from UCLA and a master’s degree in public policy from Berkeley. He received his B.A. in economics from UC Santa Barbara.
