ZionismU and Piece of History studio are proud to present this miniature replica of Eliezer Ben-Yehuda (1858-1922) – the man who revived the Hebrew language. Born in Lithuania as Eliezer Yitzhak Perlman, at age 17 he became acquainted with the idea of the Jewish resurrection in Israel, changed his name to Ben-Yehuda and decided to devote himself to the cause. The “Old and New Hebrew Language Dictionary” is considered his greatest life’s work.
